Canada has always created better immigration conditions for international citizens

Canada continues to welcome immigrants to join the labor market and assist in economic recovery. Last month, Canada created a new permanent resident pathway to assist asylum seekers working in the health care sector.

IRCC also introduced a temporary policy in which visitors who received a Canadian job offer could apply for a work permit without leaving the country. Immigration programs are also continuing to be active, calling for immigration applicants to take the next steps toward permanent residency.

The future of immigration in Canada

The federal government and the Canadian public still share a positive outlook on immigration. However, the global pandemic has posed economic challenges in Canada and will have a huge impact on immigration.

Even so, Canada is still seen as a promising immigration land for many international citizens. They put their optimistic confidence in the economic recovery, as well as believe that development opportunities will welcome them in this country. However, the rise in immigration costs this year has caused them to falter before starting their immigration journey to Canada. Faced with these difficulties, the Canadian government will assess the need to evaluate the economy and political environment to decide what the immigration goal will look like after 2020. Canada will announce its multi-year immigration level plan on November 1.
