The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is administered in partnership with the federal government in accordance with the 2015 Canada-British Columbia Immigration Agreement (CBCIA). The Government of Canada allocates a limited number of Nominations each year to British Columbia.
This program is for experienced entrepreneurs who are willing to invest and actively manage a business in British Columbia.
Must have at least CAD $600,000 in personal net worth
Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as an active business owner-manager; or 4+ years of experience as a senior manager; or a combination of at least 1 year of experience as an active business owner-manager and at least 2 years of experience as a senior manager
Must have either a post-secondary credential; or experience as an active business owner-manager with 100% ownership of the business for at least 3 of the past 5 years
Must demonstrate that you will make minimum eligible personal investment of at least CAD $200,000
Must demonstrate the ability to actively manage daily business activities in British Columbia
Must create at least one full-time equivalent job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
Must demonstrate a residency within 100km of the business operating in British Columbia, at least 75% of the total time on a work permit
Must own a minimum of one-third (33.3%) of the proposed business in British Columbia; or if owning an individual investment capital of CAD $1,000,000 or more, applicants may own less than 1/3 of the business
